Leading the Pack:  The Legacy of Coach Joel Sullivan

Since launching the North Paulding Lady Wolfpack soccer program as its inaugural head coach in 2007, Joel Sullivan has spent nearly two decades crafting a culture of excellence for student-athletes at North Paulding High School and reaching an impact in youth soccer for Paulding County Community to include his tenure at Southern Soccer Academy as the Girls' Academy Director: Specifically for the Paulding and Kennesaw locations.

Coach Joel Sullivan has built the program on a foundation of discipline, technical precision, and teamwork, and has evolved the program into a perennial powerhouse. Under his leadership, the team has successfully navigated the gauntlet of Region 3-AAAAAAA—one of the state's most competitive landscapes—to secure 14 consecutive state playoff appearances.

Sullivan extends far beyond the scoreboard. Known for fostering a culture of "TRAIN COMPETE WIN," he has mentored dozens of young women, helping many secure collegiate roster spots and teaching all of them the value of grit and teamwork.

Whether it’s a grueling practice under the lights or a high-stakes rivalry match, Coach Joel Sullivan remains a steady force for the North Paulding community—proving every day that being a Wolfpack member is about heart, hustle, and excellence.  His philosophy is simple but powerful, constantly reminding his players to master the "Triple E":    Energy, Effort, and Enthusiasm.

Meet the Wolfpack Coaching Staff The North Paulding Girls Soccer program is led by a dedicated team of educators and athletes who are committed to excellence both on and off the field. Together, they foster a culture of Heart, Hustle, and the "Triple E." TRAIN - COMPETE - WIN Joel Sullivan – Head Coach As stated in the "Leading the Pack" His Leadership and his signature reminder to all players: "Be mindful and work on what only you can control - Triple E—Energy, Effort, and Enthusiasm." Under his guidance, the program has become a pillar of the North Paulding community. Jordan Londraville – Assistant Coach Coach Londraville, having stood shoulder-to-shoulder with Coach Sullivan for over 16 years, his tenure is defined by a rare level of loyalty and a shared vision that has seen the program through countless seasons of growth and success. By day, Coach Londraville is a dedicated 4th-grade teacher at C.A. Roberts Elementary. By afternoon/evening, a successful competitive youth coach for Southern Soccer Academy. This professional background provides him with a unique pedagogical toolkit that he brings to every practice and game: Communication, Mentorship, and Respect. His daily experience in the classroom allows him to connect with players on a personal level, fostering an environment of stability, strategy and continuous learning. Tyler Lyons – Assistant Coach & DECA Advisor A dedicated educator at North Paulding High School, Coach Lyons is a vital pillar of the Wolfpack community. While he serves as an Assistant Coach for the Lady Wolfpack, his influence extends far beyond the court. As a DECA leader and a key figure within the NPHS Athletic Department, Coach Lyons balances tactical player development with a passion for student leadership and professional growth. Whether he is coaching basketball, teaching in the classroom, or mentoring students through DECA, his energy and commitment to excellence are central to the school's culture. His approach ensures that student-athletes are conditioned to be a well rounded student that is prepared for success well after graduation. Tanessa Singleton – Assistant CoachCoach Singleton is more than just a presence on the sidelines; she is a cornerstone of our athletic community. Her coaching philosophy is uniquely shaped by a "full-circle" perspective. Having competed as a collegiate-level player, she understands the discipline, grit, and mental toughness required to excel at the highest levels. However, her connection to the Wolfpack runs deeper than the scoreboard. As a Wolfpack parent, she views every player through a lens of empathy and long-term development, treating her athletes with the same care and high expectations she holds for her own children. When she isn't on the court or the field, she is shaping young minds as a teacher at Shelton Elementary. This role allows her to see the "holistic" side of student-athletes—understanding that their success as players is inextricably linked to their confidence in the classroom and their character in the community. As a dual-sport coach for both our program and the Cross Country team, she emphasizes endurance, versatility, and the belief that a female athlete’s potential is limitless. Conner Goodrich – Assistant Coach Welcome to the 2026 season, Coach Goodrich! As a Russom Elementary PE teacher, he combines top-tier technical instruction with an inspiring 'Wolfpack for Life' attitude that motivates every athlete he leads. His deep-rooted commitment to Paulding County and his ability to connect with students across all levels makes him an invaluable asset to our coaching staff and the entire Wolfpack family.
